SLOW LIVING

Slowing down and embracing a more intentional pace of life doesn’t have to feel serious—it can actually be a lot more fun. When you stop cramming your schedule to the brim, you give yourself permission to relax, laugh, and enjoy the little things without constantly checking the clock. A slower life means more room for happy accidents—like stumbling into a great conversation, getting lost in a creative idea, or deciding on a whim to do absolutely nothing. It’s about opting out of the race to keep up and instead choosing what actually feels good, like lingering over a delicious homemade meal, getting cozy with a book you can’t put down, chatting with someone face-to-face instead of through a screen, or staying in your softest pajamas just because you can. Slow living isn’t about doing less for the sake of it—it’s about making space for more joy, more ease, and a lot more of the moments that make life feel genuinely good.

  • "Intentional living is the art of making our own choices before others’ choices make us."

    —Richie Norton

OUR FAVORITE SLOW LIVING RESOURCES

I love turning to slow-living blogs, cozy podcasts, and well-worn books that remind me easing up on the pace isn’t just nice—it’s genuinely good for my health. They nudge me to breathe deeper, stress less, and treat even an ordinary Tuesday like something worth savoring. Here are a few of my favorites. Check back often as I will be adding more resources as I discover them.
