ANCESTRAL EATING
Ancestral eating is a simple, back-to-basics way of thinking about food—more like cooking the way people did before everything came prepackaged. The focus is on building meals from whole, familiar ingredients like fresh meats, fish, fruits, vegetables, nuts, and seeds, and taking the time to prepare them yourself. It’s not about strict rules, but about gradually choosing less processed options and enjoying foods you can chop, season, roast, or simmer into something delicious. Think more homemade meals and fewer quick, packaged shortcuts—recipes that begin with a trip to the market rather than opening a box. For my family, this approach brings a sense of rhythm and intention to cooking, creating a stronger connection to where our food actually comes from and making meals more satisfying.
